An “old-fashioned” climb that with great cunning follows the weak points of the wall between chimneys ramps and ledges until it reaches the famous summit cross placed at 2999m.
Easy itinerary that climbs the weakest sections of the south wall of the Cima Grande of Lavaredo. Despite its moderate difficulty, it should not be underestimated, as
both the ascent and the descent require frequent adjustments to maintain control if you want to climb it safely.
The route is usually very busy on the way up, and even more so on the way down, so it is best to avoid peak days and leave early.
Please note:Be careful not to drop rocks as there is often crowding on this route. Inquire about the possible presence of snow; the initial ramp often has snowy sections even in late season.
