Description

Of the famous three peaks, this is the smallest, but on the other hand the one with the normal route more difficult. Challenging climbing and the difficult and even tiring passage in the final chimney has smooth handles.

First ascent of the guides Michele and Johann Innerkofler on July 25, 1881. The road has a tortuous start on the front and in the vertical SW wall to the shoulder, then to S for chimney. Classic climb with interesting climbing very aerial and exposed.

The descent takes place all on rappelling long up to 30m, partly along the ascent Road.

Descent

You follow the same route as you climbed, with 9 recommended doubles you descend back to the base. Many on-site anchorages with a variety of possibilities.

Pitches: 9 recommended, the rest “short rope” with short sections in safety.

First ascenders: P. Grohmann, F. Innerkofler and P. Salcher 1869
