Description

Cima della Tofana di Rozes, standing at 3225 meters, is the third highest among the three Tofane peaks. It is undoubtedly one of the most traveled normal routes. The difficulty should not be underestimated, as the environment is severe and requires a steady step and good sense of orientation. The lunar landscape, with its pinnacles and majestic walls, adds to its charm.

Climb

Reaching the parking area near Rifugio Dibona, you follow trail 403, which ascends along the valley enclosed between Punta Anna and Tofana di Rozes. In about 1 hour and 30 minutes, you arrive at Rifugio Giussani.

The climb of the great wall begins at the Tre Dita. You ascend over scree and inclined slabs, always following cairns and blue markers, heading towards the Lipella via ferrata exit. Then, you continue in a serpentine pattern, climbing the northwest shoulder until reaching the summit cross in approximately 2 hours.

Descent

The descent is along the same route as the ascent.
