Classic traverse reaching Forcella Colfiedo at 2,721 m characterized by a long, sustained descent in a superb environment, overlooked by the sanguine southern walls of Croda Rossa. Departure from the Cimabanche powder house allows for a loop closure that avoids logistical problems.
Descent by the ascent route to the west or loop on the east side.
