Traverse of historical significance, as it is one of the longest known and most popular ski mountaineering routes in the Cortina area.
It starts from Rio Gere with the Son Forca chairlift. The climb from the Cortina side takes place on the south side with beautiful views of the Ampezzana basin. From the fork there is a 360-degree panorama of the Dolomites and the line of the Alps. The descent on the opposite side offers wide slopes and powdery snow for 1200 meters of descent to Cimabanche.
Descent down Val Pra del Vecio.
