Taè(2,511 m) is a mountain with two faces, with a south face of impressive verticality, formerly the scene of historic mountaineering feats by the Cortina Scoiattoli, and a gently sloping north face that takes root in the wild Val d’Antruiles.
Along this affordable flank is a superb route, very rewarding in terms of skiing, but above all of great environmental appeal. The start is at the parking lot of Malga Ra Stua. The summit arrival offers breathtaking, incomparably powerful views of the most hidden slopes of the Tofane groups, the Sennes and Fanes plateaus, and the elongated ridges of the Conturines. It should be walked with safe snows possibly abundant and spring.
For the return, the same route as the ascent is retraced.
