This short path close to the Rif. Averau (2413m) is ideal for completing the classic Averau and Nuvolau tour or for a half-day excursion. From the top of the Averau tower, which dominates the panorama between Passo Falzarego and Passo Giau, the gaze pushes for a magnificent Horizon tour.
Short route not difficult but never trivial, passing some vertical sections equipped with fixed ropes. Still, it is a good training test to become familiar with this type of route.
From the Rifugio Averau, follow the marked trail heading north, past the scree uphill, to reach the attack of the ferrata.
In quick succession we tackle passages, including a chimney, that by stepped rocks, in about 60m equipped lead to the ridge and then, by trail in the wide bowl, to the nearby summit cross.
