Beautiful traverse in one of the most striking and lonely environments in the Dolomites, even though it starts along the Lagazuoi ski slopes. Just cross Forcella Travenanzes to enter a magical setting of towers and pinnacles on one side and massive Tofane walls on the other.
Alternatively, one can take the Lagazuoi cable car, descend the first part of the slope and then gain the Forcella Travenanzes. With this option the height difference is halved.
The descent is towards the Lagazuoi Alp to Lagazuoi Lake and Capanna Alpina.
