The equipped route allows the ascent to the highest of the three Tofane with extreme satisfaction for the most trained. The route, even if logistically facilitated by cableway facilities that reach the summit, is not to be underestimated both for the altitude reached and in case of bad weather.
It has no major difficulties except in the exposed crossing of the Aglio tower. The descent into a cable car considerably reduces the overall commitment. You have to be careful early in the season for the possible presence of snow and ice.

The starting point (for those not coming from the G. Olivieri Railway or the equipped path G. Olivieri) is the intermediate station of the Ra Valles cable car. From here, leaving the signs for the trail Olivieri and the P. Ta Anna, you climb (south-west) for the marked path that crosses the Bus de Tofana, until the beginning of the Ferrata (2900m).
After a few steps and a vertical jump equipped with staircase, it takes you to the southwest and, for Cengia, to the carving of the tower Gianni Aglio. With fixed ropes it crosses the eastern part of the tower (difficult and exposed).
After another stretch of area crossing on the north side, you get here to the big “window” of the Bus de Tofana located to 2920 m. From here you go up to slopes and past a ramp with anti-avalanche barriers and two vertical jumps equipped with stairs, for marked path and small rocks you finally reach the cross of the summit.
In short time from the summit you descend to the Cima Tofana refuge and to the cable car station (attention last race hours!).
